Where is LollyBibs&Co based?

LollyBibs&Co is based in Worcestershire, UK.

 

What makes the bibs from LollyBibs&Co so different compared to high street brands?

Back in 2017 when I first made the pattern for the bibs I make, I thoroughly tested out a range of different fabrics to compare the quality and absorbency to ensure they were both made to last and were going to provide adequate absorbency for my super dribbly little one. I carried out multiple, timed absorbency tests using both high street branded bibs and the bibs I make and also checked to see how much of the liquid soaked through the bibs too. Needless to say - the bibs I made absorbed the liquid quickly, but also didn't leak through anywhere near as quickly as the high street brands!
Some key features include:

♡ 100% Cotton upper fabric and Terry Towelling backing fabric.
♡ Designed to sit comfortably between the chin and chest to decrease the chances of dribble rash.
♡ Completely handmade in the UK from pattern development to the product. 

 

I've purchased 2 bibs, but they're slightly different shapes, why?

As everything is completely handmade, items can have slight variations sometimes - this just makes each item more unique!

 

Are all of my items handmade in-house?

Yes! All of the items at LollyBibs&Co are carefully handmade by Katherine. All of the sewing patterns to create your items have also been carefully drafted by Katherine, too!

 

Do you make the items to order?

No, all items are made in advance before listing them on the website. I used to make each item to order, however, this just doesn't work for me anymore - making in advance also works better for you too, as your items can be sent out even quicker!

 

Where are the fabrics sourced?

All fabrics are sourced from other UK businesses. I aim to shop locally and in person as much as possible, however, sometimes I need to have fabrics posted to me from other UK stores.

 

What is the "Upcycled Collection"?

The LollyBibs&Co Upcycled Collection features a range of products that have been made using fabrics and clothing that were destined for landfill. They have been given a new lease of life by being made into cute accessories, gifts, or anything else I could think of! Specifically, fabrics from the upcycled range are often taken from clothing that our family no longer loves, or have been otherwise donated to me.

 

What are your postage costs and do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, LollyBibs&Co doesn't ship internationally at this time, but it is something I might look at re-introducing in the future.

 

Can you make custom items using character fabric?

No. Character fabrics require a license to be resold, even when made into other items.

 

Do you take fabric donations?

Yes! If you have any large remnants or even old clothing in relatively good condition that you're happy to part with, please email me at: katherine@lollybibs.co.uk.
